2024-25 NBA Jersey Patches: The Brands Behind Every Team


Since its introduction in the 2017-18 season, NBA jersey patches have grown into a powerful avenue for branding and driving revenue. NBA teams have set the standard for jersey sponsorships for other North American leagues like Major League Baseball and the NHL. To start the 2024-25 NBA season, 27 of the 30 teams have jersey partnerships – the same as the 2023-24 NBA season but with a fresh lineup of teams entering the mix, while others are still in the process of renewing or securing new partnerships.

The financial industry dominates the jersey sponsor market in the NBA with five of 24 total brands represented (at the time of this blog), followed by software and ecommerce with three brands each. The rest of the teams have a range of sponsors including tourism, entertainment, and non-profits. Robinhood is one of two brands sponsoring multiple teams this season. The finance company is sponsoring three jersey patches this season, the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, and Washington Wizards. Motorola sponsors two different teams’ jerseys, the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks, as the telecom company continues to make its presence known in the Midwest market.
